Vortex cant download mods

I have problems to download mods using the option "vortex" in nexusmode, they don't recognize vortex to open and download. I have checked the proper boxes and logged in. I dont know how to fix that. I did setup Vortex correctly following the Wiki and Gopher. Prinsn , the download with mod manager button is controlled by both mod authors and our staff. Our staff will never disable the button unless the author is providing an installer for the mod.

More often, the mod authors themselves would disable the button for one reason or another - please clarify this with the mod author. Wikt0ri0 , are you using FireFox by any chance? I didn't like Vortex and installed mod organizer 2 which is in my eyes far more user friendly and easier. Still not working, I restored everything, did the steps from esbvb09 and can install the full dialogue lines mod.

The apply button was disabled initially, like the deployment method had already been applied, but still I couldn't deploy mods thanks to a deployment method not available error or whatever, but after changing the method in the drop-down menu to something else and then back seemed to reenable the apply button.

Then I clicked apply and deploying mods worked. Still haven't seen if mods actually loaded in game but at least it got rid of the red rectangle in the menu. Plus this might have been that I messed something up weirdly in installation though, so idk if it'd work in most cases.
