It barely has any ads at all and if there is an ad it doesn't interfere with what you are doing. I first downloaded this app in the middle of the night when I was curious about a small engine plane that just kept flying in circles.

Last update needs bug fixing Jun 6, By Gregoire It would merit probably 4 stars if not for a few bugs that I think showed up since the last update of either FlightAware or iOS. If I click that area my settings will show up but the icon itself is missing. Clicking the layers icon most of the time shows up a white square in the bottom with a few checkmarks but no accompanying text and no way to close the layers options - the icons dealing with that are hidden like the settings icon.

This app is so horribly un-optimized. Listed flights will often swap places or duplicate themselves over others. Load times are attrocious to the point of just turning it off and using google. There are better apps out there that do the same function better more.

I kept getting the same generic error message, saying 'the username name is unavailable'. I have tried multiple options, and still getting the same result. This app makes it easy to obtain up to date status and on many occasions quicker then the airline employees. One request from the developers: right now it appears that when I share my flight itinerary with someone such as my wife, the app merely throws my flight info into an email ready to send. The other person then needs to manually load the info into their app. It would be very helpful if I could send a file that the other person can simply load into the app on their phone.

It is no longer in existence. I am an EA and track flights of multiple airlines simultaneously. I am grateful someone had the brains to keep a multi-carrier tracker app alive with many features from individual carrier apps. It is helpful to know where a plane is coming from when you schedule flights or are watching connecting flights. Spare planes are a tad expensive to have sitting parked at airports just waiting to be used so if your inbound flight is departing from a location impacted by weather that connecting flight you need to catch may not happen.

Having an ability to see all the puzzle pieces allows me to change flights ahead of the crowds at airports waiting in customer service lines and keep my bosses moving. Even better, knowing where flights come from allows me to choose flights and routes based on point of departure.

A Toronto connection is probably wiser in summer versus winter and so on. This app is a tool I depend on. Like anything else it can always provide new and different information but the creators of this app are updating and improving continuously so I have no complaints.

But on a more practical note, the pop up ads they suddenly decided to put on the app make it unbearable. This happens well in advance of the date, close to the date, and I have even been sitting at the airport waiting for that flight. I used to get notifications on gate changes that showed up prior to the announcement , so I knew I could relax and be confident to have updated information. I checked to make sure I have the IOS updates and update the app when there are updates, so I am confident the problem is not at my end.

Tired of Ads With subscription Jul 2, Without the constant ads to purchase the weather maps, I'd rate it a four. But with a valid subscription 12 mo good through November it's still a constant barrage of "buy our weather map" ad. Not cool. Although they say the maps after included in the premium, I don't even care that I don't have them..

I paid to get rid of that ad. Remove the ads or refund the subscriber fees. Update: although I was initially contacted and told the problem would be addressed, it still pops up adds selling weather map and alerts.

I'm giving it 10 days and if it's not fixed, I request my subscription which is still valid through November be fully refunded and I'll seek another app for travel. FreeRoam initially gave selection options for which map app to use. But it permanently connected the the app which I first tried, which could not map a route.

They have added some great new options like the ability to make lists for trip planning. I tell everyone I meet, including campground hosts about the app! The campground reviews are mostly very helpful and include useful intel about campgrounds so I know white places I want to pitch my tent and which places I might want to avoid because negative reviews are just as helpful as positive reviews.

A lot of resources online but with all those resources it can get a little overwhelming and sometimes still you can be deceived. I stumbled upon this app and their website as a part of one of those attempts to find camping in an area I was not familiar with. I liked what I saw on the website in regard to real people giving real feedback and decided it was worth the download. The app changed my perspective on finding campsites for myself as a tent camper and allowed me a more concise way to browse areas as campers just like me were giving feedback, providing helpful tips for those areas and sharing their experiences.

It felt like a community designed for campers instead of RVers and that was amazing! I liked the bold use of larger aesthetics on each page to display amenities, encouragement of photos from campers not just of their campsite but what they did in the area and even some of the gear they used was highlighted!

It underperforms. Friends keep sending me links from Campendium or others, and when I check the Dyrt there is nothing to be found. The information that can be found is often wrong. I had worked on a list to find the next day it had reverted to an older version of the list and everything I had put together was not pulling up.

Instead, it would show the same campground info for every different place I clicked. Grateful we had taken notes and screenshots of google maps as backup because this app would not have been able to get us through a multi-destination camping trip in an area that was without service. The initial view when you open the app seems very zoomed in and the top and bottom button panels seem far larger than they need to be reducing the amount of the map you can see. Directions and trip planning can be completely incorrect so beware of that, always do your own destination address and route selection on Google maps.

No simple communication between owner and camper which makes interesting camsites hard to find. Othet apps do this flawlessly more. My wife and I were pumped to finally get an app that would show us new primitive camping spots only to be let down by the dyrt app. I downloaded the app after seeing their instagram account which looks great and portrays primitive and outlander camping.

However, after my wife and I downloaded the app we soon found that the only camp grounds that it provided were KOAs and other campgrounds that are not primitive at all and can easily be found on a google search. Their Instagram is very misleading and not what you get, at least here in Utah.

This app will save you time so that you can have more time enjoying the RV life.
